Richmond Hybrid Car Rally

March 9th, 2009 · 1 Comment

On Saturday March 21st, CCAN will hold a hybrid car parade around the Capitol Building in Richmond. Help us drive home the message to VA legislators that efficiency is good for Virginia!

Join us to support Gov. Kaine’s efforts to re-insert the 19% target into the two efficiency bills passed this session by the General Assembly.

Do you own a hybrid? We will rendezvous at a central location near the Capitol at noon, then begin our parade around the Capitol building in caravan style. The precise rendezvous location will be announced soon. In rendezvous parking lot, organizers will hand out maps of parade route plus decorations and placards for cars that need them.

Don’t a hybrid but still want to take action? Meet us on Bank Street at the main entrance to the Capitol building at noon for a press conference. We’ll rally to show our support for the 19% standard and then watch the parade go by.

Good day! I don’t what a hybrid car means to me. But if it is for the good of the environment I’ll go for it and suggest you to continue in promoting your good ideas.
