The Farce Continues

We’ve touched on the fact that the new coal industry front group “FACES” has yet to come forward with a list of their members.  Well, thanks to a few new media> gumshoes, including Appalachian Voices’ own Jamie Goodman and our friends at DeSmogBlog, we’ve learned that not only is FACES hosted by a K-Street firm called Adfero, but all of the “FACES” of coal are actually just istockphotos. They couldn’t even get real photos of their supporters.

Update I: Our crack team discovered a few more stockphotos overnight. They are posted below.
Update II: It seems the “Adfero” link which was working last night, has been hidden and made private. Hopefully someone got a screenshot before it was closed.

Funny thing about this one; our Virginia Campaign Director used to raft guide for this company on the New River in West Virginia, where the picture was taken.
