SCC considers utility’s efficiency plan / Dominion Va. Power, environmentalists see some common ground

“These initiatives are exactly the types of forward-thinking measures that we all can and should take to curb energy consumption and reduce greenhouse gases,” Karl Bren, president of GreenVisions Consulting in Richmond, told the commission.

But the state’s largest utility wasn’t getting a free ride from the environmental community.
