We are hearing indications that an energy efficiency bill is likely to move forward in the state capitol soon.

That is why it is critical that you call your legislators this Wednesday, January 28th and ask them to support good energy efficiency legislation as part of the statewide call in day.

I’d like to leave a message for Delegate/Senator ______________ about upcoming energy efficiency legislation.

I would like Delegate/Senator ____________ to support House Bill Pollard 2506/Senate Bills McEachin 1447 and Herring 1440. Their legislation calls for a mandatory 19% reduction in projected energy demand by 2025 while rewarding utilities for their efficiency investments. This will create jobs and most importantly lower my electricity bills.

I would also like Delegate/Senator ____________ to oppose House Bill Kilgore 2531, Kilgore 1819 and Senate Bill Wagner 1348, which claims to address energy efficiency, but actually moves us backwards.

In our hurting economy we can’t afford not to invest in energy efficiency.
