Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) wants to build a very large (1500 megawatt) dirty coal fired power plant near Williamsburg in Surry County. ODEC and its member cooperatives are still deciding whether to go through with the plans. Lets help them make the right choice.

Get the message out to your community! Write a letter to the editor of your local paper about the benefits of investing in energy efficiency instead of dirty coal plants. It is the best way a single citizen can get the word out to a whole lot of people.
